Delete your Lex Academy account

What this page is
This page explains how to delete your account and personal data from Lex Academy (Android app com.softkarrot.lexacademy and the website at lexacademy.app), both operated by SoftKarrot.
In the app or on the website
Deleting takes a few seconds and needs no one’s help:
- Open the Lex Academy app and make sure you are signed in.
- Go to Profile.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
- Type DELETE to confirm.
Your data is removed straight away and you are signed out. There is no waiting period and no way to undo it.
On the website it works the same way: sign in at lexacademy.app, open Profile, choose Delete account at the bottom of the page and type DELETE.
If you can no longer sign in
Email support@lexacademy.app from any address, with the phone number you used to sign in and the subject line Delete my account.
We will send a one-time code to that phone number to confirm the request really comes from you — we cannot delete an account on an unverified request, because anyone could send it. Once you confirm, we delete the account within 30 days, and in practice within a few working days.
What gets deleted
- Your profile — name, username, Lex ID, phone number, email, WhatsApp number, date of birth, address, area, bio, occupations and interests
- Your profile photo
- Your connections and your sent and received connection requests
- The people you blocked, and reports filed by you or about you
- Your notifications, push notification tokens and sign-in sessions
- Your credit balance — unused credits are lost
All of it is erased permanently. None of it can be restored.
What is kept, and why
If you ever bought or used credits, the financial record of it is kept — the credit ledger, invoices and payment records — because we are required to hold accurate financial records for accounting and tax purposes.
Those records are stripped of what identifies you first. The name, Lex ID, phone number and email on each invoice are erased and replaced with a placeholder; what remains is amounts, dates and an internal account number that no longer leads back to you.
